A Degree in Biotechnology.
 

Particular consideration will be given to candidates holding a Master's Degree in Microbiology or similar.

Experience in microbiology and molecular biology techniques applied to microorganisms.
 

Experience growing and maintaining microorganisms with the ability to biodegrade polymers.
 

Experience designing, developing and implementing experimental systems and methodologies for scientific research.
 

Experience handling and characterising polymers, as well as with plastic analysis material techniques.
 

Experience publishing scientific results in internationally renowned indexed scientific journals.
 

A solid command of English would be a plus.

Compensation may be higher where the successful candidate accredits recognised professional experience.

Candidates who hold the qualification corresponding to the required category in the job offer with a non-EU degree, if selected, must present a certificate of equivalence of their non-EU qualification to a European qualification, or proof of having applied for this equivalence, in order to proceed with their hiring.

iv. Three experts in the field pertaining to recruitment, where appropriate.
 

v. The head of the Management Office for the Research Promotion and Human Resources Programme (or person s/he delegates), acting as secretary.
